QPR Takeover

Rumours are emerging that Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone is set to buy Queens Park Rangers.

Ecclestone, the 20th richest man in Britain, has linked up with Renault F1 chief Flavio Briatore to acquire the west London club from Gianni Paladini.

A hand shake has been rumoured to be made with the club selling for around £30 million with Paladini to remain running the club as chairman. However last night, Paladini denied that a deal had been completed, saying: “I wish it was true.”

The deal would main the ABC loan paid off and Gregory getting £10million to spend in January.

I really hope that this is true!
