Bye bye Lee Cook

A number of sources are reporting Lee Cook has signed for Fulham for somewhere in the region of £2.2 million. Rumours that Lee Cook’s salary has uncreased 5 times to £20,000 give an idea as to why the offer couldn’t be refused.
Its just a shame that the money made from the transfer of Lee Cook will just dissapear into interest payments for the ABC Loan.

Of course its a shame. Oh, for a chairman with access to real funds! Paladini has done his best (I think??) but its going to be hard to attract major investment while we still have that debt around our necks. Whoever negotiated that deal I don’t know, but I’m glad they’re not my accountant! Without Cook it’s hard to see even with some astute free and loan signings how we can possibly finish higher than mid-table. More likely, another relegation struggle looms.
