QPR fined for China brawl
QPR have been fined £40,000 by the FA for their part in the fight with the China Olympic team in February.
The fight included both players and staff with players chasing each other around the pitch and with the occasional kung-fu kick. The training ground bust up left China player Zheng Tao with a broken jaw and QPR assistant manager suspended indefinably.
The club admitted a charge of failing to ensure that its players and/or officials conducted themselves in an orderly fashion and refrained from violent and/or threatening and/or provocative behavior.A charge of violent conduct against assistant coach Richard Hill was found proved. He has been suspended from all football and football management until 30 September 2007. He has 14 days to appeal.
